2007 Award Winners


At a prestigious Awards Presentation Dinner held in the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh, on 21st June 2007, the winners of the inaugural Jolomo Lloyds TSB Scotland Awards were announced

The event had a surprise start with the arrival of First Minister, Rt Hon Alex Salmond MP, MSP who spoke generously about the Awards and John Lowrie Morrison, founder of The Jolomo Foundation

The main award of £20,000 was won by Borders artist Anna King. Anna, a graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in Dundee received her Award from the Chairman of The Jolomo Foundation, John Lowrie Morrison.

The second Award was won by Helen Glassford, with two third equal Awards being won by Ingrid Fraser and Rebecca Firth.

The Jolomo Foundation was delighted to invite Professor Ian Howard (Principal, Edinburgh College of Art), Dr Richard Holloway (Chair, Scottish Arts Group) and Dr Susan Rice (Chief Executive, Lloyds TSB Scotland) to present these Awards.
